This has been a weird week so far. I have several projects in process and some are ongoing so don't really have an end date! I needed to get something completed! Below you will see the project I finished today for my quilting group. It was great to get something completely off my list!
But first...... I started on my Lemons! The title of this series is "When life gives you lemons - make lemon-art!" Alright, it is a title in process. I like it though. When I start a new project I like to do some simple sketches or paint it just to get the feel for the form. Here is the first journal page I did on Lemons.

In an online quilting group I participate in - we are doing a Row Robin currently. I used one of my favorite pieces I came home with from the Montana Retreat. It is a Breakdown Printing piece and I LOVED it. So, I decided to make it the on point centerpiece of my beginning row. Then I took a light color wheel I had done some time ago (don't even remember which colors they are) and did a chevron pattern out from the center. The 12 step color wheel wasn't quite enough fabric for the minimum 45" requirement but, being a hand dyer, I just happened to have a nice light purple to add to the ends. I LOVE the results! Now to get it in the mail. Here it is on my design wall.

As for my Creative Journey -- I moved everything around on my design wall. I at least got that far. I'm going to put my great-nephews quilt upside down today after I pin on the ship. I'll publish pics of it when it is completed.
