This is a very interesting card for this week.  The title is:  "Be Taught or Not".

It is kind of an exercise in discovering what kind of learning style you have.  I read through the options - a class, private tutor or mentor, self taught.  I love them all at certain times.  I have enjoyed classes I have taken, even ones online. (I am especially enjoying my current class with Laura Cater Woods because it is a very open-ended style.  She is more a guide and facilitator than actually "teaching" the class.  It has opened my eyes about my art and my way of seeing the world.  GREAT  STUFF!!)  I hope someday soon to have a mentor, I think I would like that very much.  Someone to bounce ideas off of and someone to gently guide or give a more than subtle nudge when I need one.  Someone to hold me accountable if needed.  I also LOVE to just jump in and play and work the "I wonder what would happen if......" angle of things. 

So the upshot is...... I'm not settling on any one style.  I just want to make the most of ALL of them.
